GDC 2011: Player-Driven Stories: How Do We Get There? – Keynote, PDF, Powerpoint
If you've seen my
GDC 2011 talk, you may be interested in an earlier version of the talk
that I gave in 2010 at the Gamesauce Conference. It's a 20-minute
presentation, and while the message is the same as the GDC 2011 version
the frameworks and examples are different. I consider the GDC 2011
presentation to be the definitive and comprehensive version of the
talk, but here are links to the Gamesauce version, posted mostly out of
novelty to share the ways in which my thinking evolved. PDF, Narrated Slide Video, Full Video
GDC 2010: The AI of BioShock 2: Methods for Iteration and Innovation – Keynote, PDF, PowerPoint
My GDC 2010 lecture was
originally created in Keynote, which is the best way to view it in its
original form. I exported it to PowerPoint and PDF, and while the
annotations are identical there may be broken transitions or other
graphical problems in the non-Keynote versions.
GDC 2008: How to Pick a Lock: Creating Intuitive, Immersive Minigames – PowerPoint
